The Orleans is 1710 square feet and features a spacious master bedroom, a large walk in closet, and a big ensuite. The mudroom is in behind the master bedroom, there is lots of closet space in this house. The kitchen has a lovely island featuring a raised countertop for a nice eating spot.
These customers chose not to incorporate the laundry room into a half bath, instead choosing to put it downstairs. This is unusual nowadays, because people often want their laundry on the main floor, but our homes are custom-designed and we’ll make them to fit your individual needs.
From our designer Sharon Bailey: “This was a different one, they wanted the main area to have nine foot ceilings and the bedrooms to have eight foot ceilings so it steps the house up in the main area, and steps it down in the bedroom area, adding a lot of depth. The nine foot ceiling plus a vault in the main area makes a really interesting design.”
