This home is much like our show home the Michigan 2. The entrance is the same, but the kitchen is bigger and the vault runs straight through on this one. This gives it a feel as if it is much bigger than our show home even though it is the same size.
The front of the home will be facing a meadow and the customers will have a walkout basement underneath out to a patio and a large deck overhead.
This home is not completely finished as the customers are installing the flooring themselves. While we normally do all the finishing for our homes, we are happy to work with customers to take it to any stage they want.
The customers have upgraded the kitchen countertops to Wilsonart Calcutta Marble quartz by Caesarstone, and it looks amazing with the Gun Metal Grey cabinets. The cabinets are oak instead of maple and this is a perfect application for a woodgrain cabinet. Dark colors almost look painted on maple. But put a dark stain on oak and grain is very noticeable. Sharon loves how these cabinets turned out.
Another upgrade in the kitchen is the Kindred Granite Onyx Sink. And it looks amazing being an undermount sink with the quartz The kitchen cabinets push into the dining room area and that room will be a little smaller than the Michigan 2.
The stairwell to the basement has full wall instead of half wall that the Michigan 2 has. This allows for more wall space for artwork or a TV. Wall space is limited nowadays with everything being open concept.
The master bedroom has garden doors, and they are going to have a deck straight across on front.
Mudroom, Vaulted Ceiling, Walk-in Pantry
