We had a little break from working on RTM and onsite homes last week as we did a specialized concrete project for Dormer Finishing. Winnipeg-based Dormer Finishing sells painting and finishing equipment as well as paint booths.
We created an air flume (tunnel) for a pressurized paint booth. The booth is air pressurized and the air is forced through filters in the floor and through the flume that we created. The air is then filtered and forced through a heat recovery unit, before it is vented outside.
This project is specialized in that there is a section of the floor that is a suspended (floating) concrete slab.
This is the seventh of these projects we have done for Dormer Finishing in the past five years.
